Which fonts does the web actually have?
Fontcover reads the list of fonts on your device, draws a sample of each with the font’s own outlines, and stores only the analysis result. Your font files never leave the browser.
What we send, and what we never send
- What we do send
- Font names, the four fingerprints we compute locally, the coverage ranges and a pre-rendered sample image.
- What we never send
- The font files themselves. There is no upload field for them anywhere in the product.
